Oh man Chef John!! My aunt is Thai, and she used to make this for us all the time when I was a kid. At the time I didn't know how to make it or even what it was called . I just remember it as "that awesome Thai soup Auntie used to make us" and what do you know! Years later, I'm watching my favorite YouTube Chef make my favorite Thai soup from my childhood. I live in Europe and travel extensively in the Middle East where nobody has ever heard of Cilantro, but EVERYBODY uses Coriander, ( Chinese parsley). So could you please mention the next time you use it in your recipes. Thank You.

Ive been making this and Chef John's green thai chile….AMAZING both of them…The only real changes i make are the mushrooms…I only use shiitake, cus of their immunity claims……DELICIOUS!!!
