I'm a native to Nakhon Si Thammarat. The city has long history and used to be its own kingdom in control of a dozen cities in Southern Thailand in its peak as well as part of a few civilizations in Melayu Peninsular before. It's a bygone history and now the city is only famous for the temple and savage people. I still wish the city would one day rise again to rival other big cities like Chiang Mai.

Just want to say that I don't think any of the food you ate in the video are native to Nakhon Si Thammarat. They can be found all over Thailand. The rice noodle is also originally from Vietnam, eaten all over Thailand.
