0:00 Arriving at Red Planet Pattaya hotel
0:31 14 sq m. double room
3:56 Bathroom – amazing shower
5:02 Extras inc. outside smoking area and security keycard for entry
6:14 The morning after and Pattaya day scenes nearby
10:11 Outro from the Crazy Horse Circus bar in Patong

Additional notes:

Red Planet Pattaya hotel is the cheapest and smallest Pattaya hotel recommended on It’s definitely not for everyone, as the small room size and lack of facilities will put off some especially for longer stays.

But I still like the place. Rooms are cheap, very clean, it’s guest friendly and has super fast WIFI. The location on Second Road is great too with the beach, many restaurants and all the soapy massages close by. I’d definitely stay again.

I paid 765 baht through agoda for a room in November 2016.

Extra tips:

– You can use the amazing rooftop swimming pools at the nearby Siam@Siam Design hotel as long as you purchase drinks (towels will be provided). For a detailed video of the pools see here:

– The big Central Marina shopping mall is across the street and very convenient.

– The beach is only a 2 minute walk away. 40 baht to hire a deck chair in the shade.

– Nearest 7-Eleven is on Soi 3 alley near Honey 2 soapy massage parlour.

– Soi 6 is only a 3 minute walk away 😉
