Looking for Chaweng Beach Nightlife in Koh Samui, Thailand? We are once again back on Chaweng Beach Road on the island of Koh Samui at night. It is an early July evening and the Chaweng Beach evening nightlife and entertainment is slowly beginning to awaken. This is a walking tour where we walk down (south) Chaweng Beach Road. Our walk starts at the Spago Restaurant and Wine Bar and ends just after The Library Hotel (both of these locations are view able on Google Earth and Google maps if you want to get an idea of the distance covered). This walking tour aims to give a future traveller a feel of what it is like to be on Chaweng Road at night (or at least, what it is like in the early evening). Those travellers who have already been to Koh Samui / Chaweng Beach will enjoy seeing all the familiar views filmed in 4K with a Panasonic HC-VX870 this time. Watch out for familiar restaurants, cafe´s, bars, shops, massage salons and the big Central Festival Shopping Mall.

Chaweng Beach road at night is the central area for night entertainment, shopping, bars and restaurants at Chaweng Beach. The road is full of shops, cafes, bars and restaurants catering to the tastes of all. Chaweng Beach Road is also the location of the brand new Central Festival Samui Shopping Mall which opened in March 2014.

Wikitravel writes about Chaweng Beach, “Chaweng is the largest and most popular of Samui’s beaches, and is usually divided into four sections: North Chaweng, Central Chaweng, South Chaweng and Chaweng Noi (Little Chaweng) which is around a headland and at the southern most tip of Chaweng. Chaweng Beach is approximately 7 km long, making it the longest beach on the east coast. It is lined with coconut trees and boasts year long, warm (temperatures range between 25-28°C.) emerald-blue waters in the Gulf of Thailand…”.

This video footage is filmed with a Panasonic HC-VX870 Ultra HD 4K camcorder at Chaweng Beach on Chaweng Beach Road in the early evening during July. Chaweng Beach lies between the other popular Koh Samui tourist areas which are called BoPhut and Lamai Beach. Panasonic writes about the HC-VX870, “Capture your vision in 4K video – Elevate your creativity with 4K video. Enjoy greater detail, HDR exposure and improved camera control with Level Shot Function and 5-Axis Hybrid O.I.S.+.”
